The Mammut Smarter 2.0 Belay Package contains a Smart 2.0 climbing belay device, Smart HMS carabiner and a Safety gate to ensure of no twisting on the harness.

Each designed for use with each other, this Mammut Smarter 2.0 Belay Package will optimise safety and smooth handling when belaying and is an ideal set-up for indoor wall use and sport climbing. The additional safety gate found on the Smarter package is detachable and only adds a few grams, but increases safety greatly for beginner belayers.

The Mammut Smart 2.0 is a cleverly designed belay device. Intuition and ease of use are key feature that have made it so popular. This is an extremely lightweight, compact break-assisted belay device, which features no moving parts or levers and sits perfectly in the hand.

The Smart HMS carabiner has a safety gate to prevent accidental cross-loading and as with the belay device is all about safety and ease of handling. A major feature is that the screw gate can only be operated when the safety gate is open, preventing accidental opening as well as unintentional twisting of the carabiner.
